Our family had a blast at La Folie Lodge, where we enjoyed the various adventures Southern Laos has to offer. Exploring the stunning Wat Phou, taking a boat trip to the 4000 islands, and venturing into the Bolaven plateau were just a few of the incredible excursions available. We also relished in the BBQ under the stars, sitting on the Mekong beach with our feet in the sand, and lighting oil lamps that added a magical touch to our evenings. The tranquil oasis surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature made our stay truly memorable.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly amenities available for families with children.

Our stay at this beautiful lodge in Champasak was worth every penny. The value for money was exceptional, with a traditional and comfortable room, stunning views, and well-maintained gardens. The location was picture-perfect, and the friendly and helpful staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The free bikes were a bonus, allowing us to explore the island and nearby attractions easily. Special thanks to Alom, Bee, and their team for making our stay so enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast could have been improved by offering coffee in the rooms, as the policy against it due to ants was a bit inconvenient.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location is simply breathtaking, with its superb view overlooking the Mekong and surrounded by unspoiled nature. We especially enjoyed the wide beach along the Mekong, where we spent many relaxing hours. The staff here are incredibly friendly and check-in was easy and fast. They were excellent, always willing to assist us and we even had the opportunity to use the bikes provided by the hotel to explore the beautiful island.
This hotel is not convenient for everyone, as it is best suited for those seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway. However, we highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends who are looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax in a beautiful setting.

The wooden bungalows were tastefully decorated and offered great views of the mighty river. the bar had a classic colonial charm and the swimming pool was a sweet little place to relax. the location on the island was magical and provided a slice of Africa in Asia experience. the staff were friendly and took care of all my needs with a smile. the high, speed Wi, Fi worked exceptionally well all over the property.
The food was a bit pricey but understandable due to the transportation costs. the Wi, Fi was a bit spotty in the rooms.

This hotel is located on a small island in the Mekong river, and the views are absolutely stunning. I had the most peaceful and relaxing time here, surrounded by beautiful gardens and watching breathtaking sunsets. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic stay, especially Aum who was proactive, hospitable, and helped organize all of my activities. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the free bike rental allowed me to explore the nearby village and enjoy the serenity of the area. I also enjoyed delicious meals at both the hotel's restaurant and the local village.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. With its fantastic location, excellent service, and comfortable rooms, this place is a true gem.
